What’s the best way to store sourdough bread?
I recommend leaving the bread with the cut side down on a cutting board and covering it with a tea towel. Moisture is not its friend, so avoid plastic bags. Organic cloth storage bags are also a wonderful option if you take a little longer to finish a loaf. This bread can be enjoyed over the span of a few days, but it typically doesn’t last that long!
Can I freeze my sourdough to save it for later?
Yes! You can either slice pieces and wrap them in individual pieces of foil, or you can freeze a whole loaf for later. For individual slices, just pop them in the toaster to refresh them.
For the whole loaves, leave them out to thaw, get the loaf wet (you can literally run it quickly under the sink), and then pop it in the oven for a bit to re-heat it: 350 F for 10 min on the oven rack
What happens if I don’t pick up my order?
If you do not pickup in the allotted time, and I do not hear from you after I text or call you, I will assume you have forfeited your order. No refunds for goods not picked up.
